Farmer Eric

This is Eric, the young man who was responsible for taking care of the garden in our absence this summer.  Without his meticulous care we would not have all the delicious produce we are now harvesting.  We invited him to dinner--a dinner which featured a lot of the vegetables he tended.

Here you see him taking instructions on food preparation from former Farmer Richard, now Cook Richard.

This was the first of many courses.  It featured homemade hummus, homemade tabbouleh salad, and salsa freshly made with garden tomatoes.

It seems like my blogs are a lot about food.  Fresh, wholesome ingredients which are creatively and attractively prepared provide us much enjoyment.

Beautiful! The food and the "new" kitchen. I can see how much enjoyment they provide. You were fortunate to find a young fellow interested in maintaining your garden.

I love your kitchen! Very bright and airy with plenty of workspace.
