They used to be lovely hostas. :-(
Is it bunnies or is it deer?
Early in the summer I used a smelly product called "Deer Fence" to deter the hungry wild ones in the backyard. It seemed to work, even through the seven weeks while we were gone.
I hadn't looked closely for the past few days, but sometime recently something started feasting.
I have a feeling it's the bunnies, which are about the size of our 65-pound dog, feeling the need for continued sustenance since the grass and even the weeds are beginning to dry up due to lack of rain.

I don't know, but I think the hostas will revive next Spring. Too bad the pretty foliage is being devoured now. Might need to replenish the Deer Fence. The hostas here are beginning to lose their color.
