Once the snow stopped the temperatures started to fall. Now the formerly wet snow is like concrete.
The temperatures for heading out to school the past two mornings have been hovering around zero, but there has been wind so the wind chill has been between -10° and -20°.
Thank goodness it may warm up to freezing on Sunday. Then maybe some of the frozen drifts on the driveway and walkways can be worked on.
We're glad that we didn't lose any power due to falling limbs. At one point yesterday there were about 4 500 people in our area without power (and minus-10° temps!). Some didn't have power for more than 24 hours.
It looks like there are some broken limbs on the trees in back.
