Some Progress Made

(Picture is a little dark -- foggy, rainy -- reads:   4 1/4 inches)

Compared to last week there's been a lot of progress in melting the snow on the deck.  And so there should be.  We have had temperatures above freezing since Tuesday as well as some rain each day.  You can quite clearly see dirt and soot particles in and on the snow.  We've had an air advisory in effect for several days.  The warm air across the snow is causing there to be fog and clouds, trapping the particulate matter in the air.

I thought your blog had slipped back a week when it first opened, seeing the measuring stick in the snow. I figured by now you'd be seeing the grass again. Garden plots were being offered here @ the complex and one person has planted potatoes....the rhubarb bed looks almost ready to sprout.
Surely this week's warming will take care of the rest of your snow.
