It's A Struggle

Friday morning three and a half yards of landscaping mulch were delivered to our driveway.

I have been in a struggle with time and the weather ever since.  I had hoped I could get the mulch cleared off the driveway by the time the "guys" returned from the track meet.  (By the way, Trey got his three golds, yeah!!)  A pile of mulch makes the garage and driveway not so usable.

Because it was raining Friday the delivery was two hours late.  Between my schedule of other things I had to do and the weather, I've only gotten in seven hours of relocating mulch since it was delivered 50 hours ago.

I've also tried to get the lawn mowed in between rain showers.  I managed to get the front and side mowed Saturday (30 minutes) and part of the back (40 minutes) before having to give up because of the thundershowers.

Now I am sitting at the computer in damp clothes, but the sun is shining again (momentarily) so I won't be changing into dry things.  I'll probably be back out there soon "totin' that bale" till the job gets done.
