I think I have finally gotten used to Hubby being at home now, instead of being gone all day at school. It has taken awhile. But I have now accommodated my schedule with his.
We used to have breakfast at 6 a.m. Now we are eating at 7 a.m. instead.
I used to be at the Y by 7:45 a.m. after having taken care of the dishes, the bedroom, the bathroom and vacuuming some part of the house.
Now I'm lucky to get to the Y by 8 o'clock. That means I often do dishes after my workout, and do those other housekeeping chores later on. Sometimes they don't get done. C'est la vie!
We are now planning meals together on a regular basis and deciding who will prepare which meal. And that's working out, too.
It does take some time to adapt to changes in schedule.
Even Sparky adapts slowly. For example, when snow covers the ground in winter she has no choice but to take care of "business" on the snow. She has to adapt immediately.
But come thawing time (like it's been for the past few days) she seeks out the snow, instead of the bare ground. She'll continue to do that until the last patch of snow is left.

It won't take long to decide things will set their own time schedule to get done - or to not be done. Relax and enjoy. Spring seems to be around the corner, at least today. Here it was 75 degrees. A week ago the morning low was -17 or -20 below. 90-95 degree variance.
