Great Luck

Every now and then we play the card game Pinochle.


We often play it if Son #2 is visiting while his wife is working.

I don't seem to have much luck at the cards I am dealt.  Somehow Hubby seems to get much better hands than just about anyone else.  (He contests that, but I am sure it's true!)

But, for once, I hit the jackpot.

On a recent evening, in the first hand of a new game, this was my meld:

8 aces, double pinochle = 1300 points

A game is 1000 points.  I won in one hand.
