Well I was speculating, half complaining, about the prospects of no rain after over-seeding the lawn. I guess I should be careful what I wish for.
The weather the past two days has been absolutely deluvian. It is supposed to continue until the end of the week.
As a result we have discovered some leaks. One is around the flashing on the chimney, leading to water dripping into the attic. The other is around the flange surrounding the stove hood vent on the roof, leading to water dripping on the stove top.
It seems like the battle with Mother Nature is eternal.
