We usually leave our Christmas decorations up until January 6 (Twelfth Night/Three Kings/Epiphany), the liturgical end of the Christmas season. This year the decorations are still in place and it is January 10.
I was planning to take them down today--it takes several hours to remove them, put them away, and put other items in their place. But the weather was so beautiful that I had to do something that I had not finished last fall, namely, wash windows.
I have never washed windows in January in Wisconsin. But today it was in the low 50°s and I couldn't be bothered with Christmas decorations.
Everyone keeps saying, "When will it hit? The big one."
Personally I hope it is not at all this winter.

Great weather for January except in Alaska with 19 feet of snow!
