So sad

We had a lettuce salad yesterday.  It was the last of our home grown lettuce.
:-(

We've had our own lettuce since April and I'm sad to think that we'll have to buy it at the market if we want any more lettuce before next spring.

We're also almost finished with the apples we picked up in the Kickapoo Valley at the end of September.  Just have enough for another pie or two.  The eating apples are gone--as of today.  They were delicious (no pun intended--although some of them were Golden Delicious.) The Honey Crisps were especially good.
