That is, all the races have been run. The state championship meet has passed.
Hubby and Son #2 had a great time at the state meet. Although our school's entrant didn't do as well as he wanted to, he had a good experience for a sophomore. He has two more high school years to look forward to trying again.
The awards dinner was this past Monday. Here are the two coaches, dressed in their celebratory finery:
When I asked Hubby on Wednesday what he was working on his computer he said: "Cross Country".
Me: "I thought Cross Country was over."
Hubby: "I still have to update the website."
Coaching is not just a physical activity anymore, you have to be a computer guru as well.
